A New Well of Living Water for Thirsty Hearts

Want a change of Life? Then change your Mind.

We all need a change in our lives, but we have yet to see it. Are we missing something?
We have all heard that Jesus changes lives, but we sit here looking at our own lives and desperatly yearn for that change.  We pray for it, we pine for it, we do everything we can think of, except the one thing that will work.  We never consult his word and we wonder why we are no different.  It's sort of like camping.  On one hand you have these real hardcore campers who backpack everything they need into an area and set up shop.  These are the real campers.  Then you have those who travel in RV's and call it camping.  That's not camping all you did was slap some wheels on your home and called it camping.  It's the same thing we do with our Christian life, we keep everything in the old life except we slap some wheels on it and call it Christianity.  It doesn't help us one bit.  There is nothing new about it, there is nothing changed about it except in name.  So are we the only ones who struggle with this?  Nope, check out Pauls writtings in Romans 7 and 12, and Ephisians 4.  Paul knew it was a problem, but he tell us how we need to change.  If we want a changed life then we are going to have a changed mind.  If we want a changed mind we need to replace our thoughts with God's thoughts. How can we have God's thoughts?  By having a deep intimate relationship with God.  How can we do that?  By having spiritual discipline.
