So many times in so many situations in life we find that we are asking ourselves a simple question "Is this wrong?" We usually are really just asking ourselves at this point is "How close can I get to sin without sinning." The Truth is we are usually just one decision away from helping or hurting our lives and relationships. That is why it's so important to Walk the Wise Walk.
Look in Eph. 5:15-17 Paul tells us to be careful how we live because these are evil days, don't live like the fools, but we need to understand what God wants in our lives in order to be wise.
When Paul is telling us to be careful, he is giving us a picture of a woman wearing a white dress walking down a path. Along the path there are mud puddles that she doesn't want to run into. When Paul says to understand what God wants it's like putting up Barriers around those mud puddles so that she can walk and not worry about the mud.
This is what we must do in life. I asked the youth to think about their boundries in a few different areas. (We all have them even if we have never articulated them)
Music
Movies
Dating
Parties
TV
Over the next few weeks we will be taking these boundries and examining them against scripture.
